Entering the professional world: An Interview with our new apprentices

Our apprentices about their impressions at the beginning

We are very excited to officially introduce our two new apprentices in their first year of training to you today! About two weeks ago, they embarked on their exciting journey into the world of work with us.

Berin and Alexandru-Florin are two fresh talents who have chosen to take their first steps in their professional journey with us. They bring new ideas, motivation, and enthusiasm to enrich our team and achieve our company's goals.

We provided Berin and Alexandru-Florin with the opportunity to briefly introduce themselves, their motivation, goals, and their initial impressions of our company. We hope that this interview is not only informative but also inspiring for those who are embarking on the path of apprenticeship or are interested in the progress and perspectives of our youngest team members. Let's learn more about them now.

Why did you choose an apprenticeship in freight forwarding and logistics services with bgm?

Berin: I felt very comfortable during the internship I completed with you, so I decided to pursue an apprenticeship with your company.

Alexandru-Florin: I chose this apprenticeship because I can put my language skills to good use in this field, and I enjoy working with computers.

What do you expect from your apprenticeship at bgm?

Berin: My expectation for myself is to learn everything I need to know for this profession and to be able to advance to higher positions within bgm in my career.

Alexandru-Florin: I expect to expand my geographical and computer knowledge. I also hope to enjoy my work and collaborate with many friendly and helpful colleagues.

What is your first impression of your new colleagues?

Berin: They are all very friendly and always there when I need help. There are no stupid questions for them.

Alexandru-Florin: The colleagues I have worked with so far have been very kind, helpful, and above all, patient with me.

What has impressed you the most about your new employer, bgm, so far?

Berin: The positive and pleasant working atmosphere.

Alexandru-Florin: So far, I am most impressed by working with three screens. I had some initial experiences with working on three screens with my cousins and was fascinated by what you can do simultaneously with them.

What was your childhood dream profession?

Berin: As a child, I wanted to become a race car driver.

Alexandru-Florin: My biggest childhood dream was to become a professional soccer player. I followed my dream and now play soccer in Germany instead of my homeland, Romania. I also wanted to become a police officer, but I didn't meet some of the requirements here, so I had to abandon that dream.

How were your first days here at bgm?

Berin: I really enjoyed my first days at bgm. I had the opportunity to get to know my new colleagues and, with their help, quickly understood how things work here.

Alexandru-Florin: The first days were very challenging for me, as I had to get to know all the programs, learn how to use them, and then apply my knowledge correctly.

We would like to sincerely thank Berin and Alexandru-Florin for their openness in this interview. We are confident that they will make a valuable contribution to our logistics family, and we wish them continued success and joy in their journey in the world of work. We will closely follow their progress and look forward to the great contributions they will make to our company in the years to come.
